About the instructor: Lauren Hertel
I teach multimedia journalism to broadcast students at the University of Florida. As an online editor in California, I developed a model four-month multimedia training program for the community news group of Dow Jones and I continue to do a lot of consulting and traveling for the U.S. State Department.
I holds graduate degrees in Journalism and City & Regional Planning from the University of California at Berkeley.
I've had some fun and exciting experiences as a journalist, including a summer I spent interning with the United States Army in the Mojave Desert. You can read more about that and more in my full bio online.
